Last updated: September 11, 2026. This policy applies to eBooks and other digital products sold directly through Money no Sofá to customers worldwide.
Digital products are delivered electronically and cannot be physically returned. Unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise, purchases are generally final once the file has been delivered, accessed or downloaded.
When we may issue a refund
- Duplicate or incorrect charge.
- Wrong digital product delivered.
- Corrupted or inaccessible file that we cannot replace.
- Product was not delivered and we cannot restore access.
- A refund, cancellation or withdrawal is required by applicable law.
Consumer rights by major market
United States
There is no general federal cooling-off period for ordinary online digital purchases. Our published refund terms apply, subject to applicable federal and state consumer-protection laws and rights relating to incorrect, defective, undelivered or improperly charged purchases.
European Union / EEA
Consumers generally have a 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts. For digital content supplied immediately, that right may end once access or downloading begins if the consumer expressly requests immediate supply and acknowledges the loss of the withdrawal right.
United Kingdom
Consumers generally have a 14-day cancellation right. For digital downloads supplied immediately, the right may end once downloading begins when the customer has expressly agreed to immediate supply and acknowledged the consequence.
Brazil
Qualifying online purchases may be cancelled within 7 days under Article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code (Código de Defesa do Consumidor).
Mexico
Qualifying online purchases may be revoked within 5 business days under Article 56 of Mexico’s Federal Consumer Protection Law, subject to the conditions of that law.
Canada
There is no general nationwide right to return a purchase simply because the customer changed their mind. Mandatory provincial and territorial consumer rights, including rights relating to defective products, remain unaffected.
Australia
Australian Consumer Law provides mandatory consumer guarantees. Where those guarantees are not met, customers may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, cancellation or other remedy. These rights cannot be excluded by this policy.
Other countries
Customers remain entitled to any mandatory consumer rights provided by the law applicable to their purchase. If local mandatory law gives greater protection than this policy, that law will prevail.
How to request help or a refund
Contact us at money@moneynosofa.com or through our Contact page. Include your name, purchase email, order number, product title and a short description of the issue.
If a refund is approved, it will normally be returned to the original payment method. Processing time depends on the payment provider, card issuer or bank.
Mandatory rights
Nothing in this policy excludes, limits or overrides consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded. Where mandatory local law conflicts with this policy, the mandatory law prevails.
